Jincheng Construction Machinery of the Third Company successfully developed the JP560 super-large flat-top tower crane

On September 5th, Sichuan Jincheng Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (brand: SCJC), a subsidiary of the Third Company, successfully developed the new flat-top tower crane JP560. This product fills the current domestic market gap for ultra-large flat-top tower cranes with an 85-meter boom and a lifting torque of 560 tons, significantly boosting prefabricated building construction.

In recent years, prefabricated construction has been vigorously promoted, and the demand for large-tonnage tower cranes has become increasingly prominent. However, flat-top tower cranes over 400 tons are extremely scarce in China, creating a significant market gap and hindering the realization of a high prefabrication rate. (True prefabricated buildings are characterized by entire rooms being fabricated in the factory and transported to the site for immediate hoisting, but these often weigh over 10 or even 20 tons.) Therefore, Jincheng Construction Machinery pioneered the development of a 560-ton ultra-large flat-top tower crane in China. Thanks to Jincheng Construction Machinery's extensive experience in tower crane design and manufacturing, and the concerted efforts of its entire R&D team, the 560-ton-meter JP560 flat-top tower crane was successfully developed in just six months. During its development, the company made extensive use of the professional computer analysis software ANSYS, thoroughly analyzing and verifying all load-bearing components. The company incorporated advanced flat-top tower crane design concepts from renowned international tower crane companies. The design of the mechanical and electrical control systems adhered to the most advanced international technology, fully incorporating variable frequency speed control into the flat-top tower crane, resulting in smoother operation, less impact, and easier operation. The first unit of this type was purchased by a customer while still in development. Due to the tight delivery deadline, all Jincheng Construction Machinery employees braved both scorching sun and torrential rain, overcoming numerous difficulties and technical barriers, and working tirelessly to ensure safety and quality. During the entire tower crane installation and testing process, the entire installation team worked tirelessly and conscientiously. Team leader Li Daijin even worked overtime until the early hours of the morning due to installation issues. He meticulously documented any problems with the new tower crane and promptly reported them to the technical department, providing valuable feedback for the final design of the crane. The JP560 flat-top tower crane has a rated lifting torque of 5,600 kNm, a maximum rated lifting capacity of 26 tons, a maximum reach of 85 meters, and a minimum reach of 3 meters. Its hoisting, slewing, and boom functions all utilize PLC control and frequency conversion technology. Available models include fixed, internal climbing, and traveling types. The launch of this flat-top tower crane further enriches the company's product portfolio and enhances the brand awareness of Jincheng Construction Machinery (SCJC).
